Our Story

20 years of building amazing ponds and wildlife habitats taught us a few things about controlling water levels.

We originally made flashboard risers from concrete.  They are costly, labor intensive and overkill for most applications.

Building a few of these concrete drains on hot summer days was the only incentive we needed to invent a better way!

We began building prefabricated flashboard inlet boxes from steel. 

These are easier to build and have proven to work well. 


We realized that an in-line unit would be easier to maintain for most of our projects. 

We installed a couple plastic in-line units but were not satisfied with the structural strength or the seals. The units are made from flat panels cut from plastic sheets and have many screws and rely on liberal coatings of sealant.
